The POP Screen provides your sales and marketing organization with an efficient, economical solution to the challenge of targeting and screening large numbers of recruits from all sources. It is a customized assessment tool that integrates structured interviewing with psychometric profiling.
IMPORTANT: The POP Screen is the first step in your selection process. It helps you identify self-managers.
Here's what to do...
- Make sure your team under stands that the POP Screen is a deselection tool, designed to screen out candidates that do not fit your business environment.
- Use the POP Screen as the first step in your candidate screening process before you
spend time with candidates that don't fit.
- Make sure your sales team has the right Web address to send candidates to for screening.
- If you are using access codes, make sure they are available to your team.
- Use the "Invite Candidate" feature. (See D-Brief 1 for details.)
- Follow the direction of the screener. If it says redirect — redirect.
- Print a sample POP Screen from your Profile Administration Center so you and your team can
understand what each page is telling you.
- Use the information from the last page of the POP Screen in your first interview.
There are some good questions listed to support the findings of the POP Screen.
- If your candidate passes, move them on in your process, which might mean
administering the POP IV or proceeding with your behavior interview.
